Visual Presentation Requirements

• 10 pictures

• Don't add a lot of words, we want to see the pictures

• Don't write paragraphs, use bullet points people!

Oral Presentation Requirements

• Present for 1-3 minutes

• Can we hear you?  Are you speaking clearly and loudly enough?

• Are you engaging your audience by making eye contact, and not reading from notes the whole time?

• Do you show knowledge about your artist and the time they were creating art?​​

Questions to Answer in your presentation

• When and where did they live? Or if you can't find a birth date, when and where did they go to college?

• What was happening in the world and their area during that time?

• Why did they make art?  Was it for an everyday use, or as an art object? 

• What are some qualities of their art?  What are some adjectives you would use to describer their artwork?

***Some of the artists are much younger than others. Artists toward the end of the semester will have far less bio info on them than earlier artists. Find as much info as you can. I'm most interested in seeing their work
